1/9
Mims Vintage Lighting and Restoration grew from a deep admiration for the 1930s and ’40s. In an era when design dared to be bold, materials were made to endure, and lighting was as much sculpture as utility.
I founded Mims Vintage Lighting & Restoration with the belief that a home should hold character, not clutter. The pieces I restore were never meant to be thrown away — they were built to last, to glow through decades, and to stand with quiet dignity in modern spaces.
With a background in design, I search for forgotten treasures: Deco pendants, opaline shades, brass details — often worn, often waiting. Every fixture is disassembled, rewired, and reimagined in-house, keeping its original story intact while making it ready for the homes of today.
This is not just about lighting. It’s about resisting the disposable and rediscovering joy in craftsmanship, weight, texture, and time.
Mims Vintage Lighting and Restoration is for those who want their home to speak — softly, beautifully — of eras that still matter.
